What is the Missing Persons Index.com?
The Missing Persons Index.com is a radical new approach to
locating missing persons which embraces the power of the Internet
and rewards people for providing information concerning the
current whereabouts of persons whom our clients seek to contact.
How much are the rewards worth?
The rewards offered vary and are pre-determined by our clients.
Details of the rewards offered appear on the index with the details
of the person our client seeks.
Why are people on The Missing Persons Index.com?
The names of the individuals that appear on MPI are all people
who our clients wish to contact. They may be beneficiaries
of a will or a valuable insurance policy, they may be required
as a witness or simply need to be located to bring our clients
own database up to date.
Who are MPI's clients?
Our clients are typically pension companies, solicitors, financial
institutions and indeed any company who have a legitimate reason
for seeking the whereabouts of the person they are trying to
contact.
Why are MPI's clients offering a reward?
It is likely that our clients will have written to the last
known address they hold, and have failed to obtain any response.
They may have tried other ways of contacting the person they
seek, without success and therefore have placed their details
on the MPI. They are prepared to offer an inducement (reward)
to encourage Information Providers who do know the whereabouts
of the individual concerned to come forward.
Will MPI divulge who the clients are?
This information is treated as highly confidential.
When will the reward be paid?
Once the information provided has been confirmed by our clients and payment of the reward has been received by MPI,
the reward will be paid immediately and forwarded to the information provider, usually within 7 days.
What will our clients do next?
In most cases clients will telephone, visit or write to the
person they seek to confirm the new address details provided.
Can anyone place details (Upload data) of an individual that they wish to find onto the MPI database?
No, only authorised companies and organisations that have been approved by the MPI are able to add "upload data" details of individuals that they wish to locate.
Why cant private individuals upload details to the MPI?
The MPI is a commercial company which was specifically setup to assist approved organisations to locate people who they have lost contact with and who have a legitimate reason for doing so. If you have lost contact with family, friends or loved ones we would suggest that you try one of the organisations on our links page, who may be able to assist.
Will being listed on the MPI affect my credit rating?
No, appearing on the MPI indicates only that one of our clients would like to contact you. Certainly no negative influence of any kind is implied or should be drawn from your inclusion on the MPI database.
Can I have my name removed from the MPI?
Yes, If you contact the MPI and advise us of your new address, we can inform our client who will contact you directly and once confirmed your details can be removed.
Will MPI divulge to the person that is missing, who told MPI
where they now lived?
This information is treated as highly confidential.
